In 1965, in Bern, Indiana, a man named Roy Lehman planted a small patch of popcorn for his six-year-old son, Brian. His little son started growing popcorn for his family and friends. She still remembers bringing popcorn to school for her sixth-grade teacher, one of her most loyal customers. When he graduated, he stayed on the family farm and continued to grow and sell popcorn. He eventually bought the farm and surrounding property and started Amish Country Popcorn.
