In the early 1920s, HB Reese, an employee of The Hershey Company, began making candy in the basement of his Hershey home. When Reese's created peanut butter cups as part of a line of candy in 1928, the first generation of chocolate and peanut butter fans made the candy its best-selling item. Then he further developed his product range and created his Popcorn, which is covered in original Reese's chocolate.
